About Peregrine Peregrine is a small primary and lower secondary school where children from 4 - 14 years old work and play together. The advantage of such a small school, with mixed age groupings and high levels of teacher and parental suport, is that special things become possible. Peregrine is a caring community where children have a secure sense of belonging. Children benefit from the continuity of belonging to one whole group with the same group of teachers throughout their schooling.
It is an environment where students, teachers and parents are all significant participants in planning and decision making for daily activities. At the school teachers truly know each child's emotional, social and academic needs. Teachers have time to spend with each individual on a daily basis and work with them as they grow from year to year. Peregrine strives to create a non-competitive learning environment where children are helped to encourage, support and respect one another.
